General purpose foam tape with acrylic adhesive. Suitable for both internal and external applications which require medium load bearing properties and high temperature resistance.
V1400
High tack acrylic adhesive tape combining excellent peel properties with moderate shear performance. Suitable for a wide range of surfaces for both internal and external applications and has excellent weathering and temperature resistance.
V1400 is a general-purpose acrylic adhesive combining high tack and good peel adhesion for interior and exterior applications. This range has excellent weathering and plasticiser resistance properties and exhibits good bond strength to various substrates such as plastics including polycarbonate, PVC, glass, wood, metals etc. The PE foam is available in a wide range of thickness and density variations in order to offer conformable products suitable for uneven, irregular or contoured materials.
Current configurations include both black and white foams in thicknesses from 0.8mm up to 3.0mm with white paper liners or coloured filmic liners.
V1600
High performance acrylic tape with good tack and excellent load bearing characteristics. Suitable for applications where exterior weathering and chemical resistance is necessary. Also available in a high density (0.8HD) version suitable for high performance, elevated temperature applications.
V1600 has been developed for exterior use in applications requiring a combination of good tack and excellent bond strength. This range of products have excellent weathering and plasticiser resistance properties and exhibit good bond strength to surfaces including glass, plastics and automotive paints. The PE foam is available in a wide range of thickness and density variations in order to offer conformable products suitable for uneven, irregular or contoured materials. The product is ideally suited for applications where two very dissimilar materials need to be bonded together.
Current configurations include both black and white foams in thicknesses from 0.5mm up to 3.0mm with white paper liners or coloured filmic liners.
V1800
Highly crosslinked acrylic adhesive tape designed for high temperature, high shear applications. The adhesive offers high adhesion levels over time and gives excellent adhesion to a wide range of low energy surfaces.
The high shear acrylic adhesive combines high shear adhesion with elevated service temperature range. It has been designed for exterior use in long-term product assembly applications such as automotive ornamentation. The products is also suitable as a lens grinding aid due to its rotational strength and peel characteristics from glass and coated plastics. The product also offers excellent weathering and plasticiser resistance.
Current configurations include only black foam in 0.5mm and 0.8mm thicknesses with white paper liner or coloured filmic liners.
